OK — I have spring silliness today.
There are just days when you want to romp — today has been one of those days. In Gone with the Wind, Scarlett tells Ashley that she can’t think on that particular day, she’s wearing a new hat and all the figures have just flown from her head. I realize that scene didn’t work out so well for her, but do you ever just want to abandon sense? Working out today left me euphoric and the drizzle just sparkled all the blooms along my morning drive!
Instead on concentrating on the 1938 reunion, and the drama unfolding in our current events — I’ve been making important determinations such as the fact that Knoxville has way more groundhogs than could possibly exist in Greensboro — and suffers from a dearth of Indian food and bunnies.
Also, I now have a new idea for my writing file — I have to write it down, put it in the future project drawer — but it’s whimsy, and I am so in the mood for something frothy…. what do you do when you get the sillies? What music are you playing? I’m listening to Talking Heads, Kasey Chambers, the Pierces… a little Cab Calloway, and OK, Harry I taught the girls “Werewolves of London” 🙂
When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies. –> JM Barrie
Take care,

Werewolves – Awesome! In a few years, when the girls are going through their all black phase and talking like Meg on Family Guy, you can teach them “Desperadoes Under the Eaves”.
You have so much to look forward to!
Harry
For the “Meg” phase, I’m hoping for Lou Reed. Right now, the only ones that truly confuse them (why are our parents the way they are??) are B-52s and Talking Heads.
They got a small dose of decent 80s music or at least covers on the soundtrack to “Sky High.” It’s not too bad 🙂
